One time i felt a bad trip coming up on x and my bf did aswell. I just told the both of us this trip wasn't going to be a bad one but just a different kind of experience like we're used to. Even though we couldn't get comfortable physically, we've had so much valuable conversations all night long and it definitely left us with a good and insightful experience. Its okay if trips are different than you're used to. You learn flexibility and open mindedness and can take comfort in change more easily.
